Data Reports Export

Data Reports lets you export the Excel record for each gift collection after it ends. There are currently two common ways to download it:

  • Download directly from Data Reports in the MCAStar app
    • This does not require MCN-level permission. Before the shift ends, the host or operations lead can download it directly on the PC used for the live session.
  • Download by device from the MCA CMS Admin Console
    • This requires MCN-level permission and lets you download records from the current device's report list.

Languages

The downloaded data report is bilingual in Chinese and English. Other languages are not supported yet.

If you only see Chinese in a cell, try widening the column to reveal the English text.

Row Limit Inside the Report

The downloaded report includes at most 1,000 gift records. If you only need summary data in the report, such as ranking data, you can ignore this limit.

If one session has more than 1,000 gift records and you need the full gift detail, the report includes a dedicated link for downloading the complete data.

Download from the MCAStar App

There are currently two entry points in MCAStar, and both open the same report window:

  1. Data Reports in the device info area on the login page
  2. Data Reports in the top navigation after entering the app

Download from the Admin Console

  1. Open MCA CMS
  2. Go to Device Management
  3. Click Report on the target device card

The report window in the Admin Console is opened per device, so you need to choose the device first and then view the collection records under that device.

Export Rules

  • In the MCAStar app, Data Reports shows ended collection records from the most recent 60 days by default.
  • In the Admin Console, the report list is shown by device and the window currently displays up to 100 records.
  • The downloaded file is an .xlsx file. You can open it directly in Excel or import it into Google Sheets.
