How 1 Gift Binding Mode Works

To make it easier for viewers to use gifts to add votes for Creators, while also allowing the whole live room to see a wider variety of gift animations,
MCAStar pioneered the 1 Gift Binding Mode mechanism in the industry.
Using the Dual Dance setup above as an example:
- The representative gift for the defender on the left is Cat
- The representative gift for the attacker on the right is Ice Cream
Before the 1 Gift Binding Mode mechanism existed, MCAStar users had only two choices:
- Add 1 to 2 more higher-value gifts on each side as representative gifts
- Ask viewers to keep sending only the representative gifts
After the 1 Gift Binding Mode mechanism was introduced, this problem was greatly relieved:
- A viewer first sends a representative gift, such as Cat, to choose a side. Sending Cat means supporting the Creator on the left defender side.
- After that, all gifts sent by that viewer, regardless of value, can continue adding votes to the Creator on the left defender side.
Widely Used
Almost all MCAStar modes use the 1 Gift Binding Mode mechanism.
Some modes let you return to the traditional non-binding style through 1 Gift Binding Mode.
For Small-Spending Viewers
You can guide small-spending viewers to send a representative gift first to choose a side.
After that, they can send fan gifts such as Heart Me and Popular Vote.
This both adds votes for the Creator and helps viewers raise their fan level quickly.
